Philanthropy
As a one-woman operation based in Midland, TX, I want to ensure my time and treasures stay local. As a wife and mother, our philanthropic efforts focus on women and children. I am committed to giving back to the community by focusing on a handful of select, local non-profits.
We would love for you to learn more about the organizations we have chosen to support by reading their missions below!
- Midland Rape Crisis & Children’s Advocacy Center
- Midland Children’s Rehabilitation Center
- 3:11 Ministries
- Midland Fair Havens
The MRCCAC provides support, hope, and healing for survivors of sexual assault and child abuse in the Permian Basin. Their goal is to eradicate all forms of abuse through education and empowerment, but until that day we will provide every service possible for survivors to help them move forward.
Midland Children’s Rehabilitation Center provides occupational, physical and speech therapy as well as tutoring for children with dyslexia, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. The Center was started in 1956 and was originally called the Midland Cerebral Palsy Center. MCRC is a pediatric only facility serving infants through 22 years of age.
3:11 Ministries is a non-profit organization with a total of six programs designed to help the children of our community. We work closely with local school guidance counselors to identify families that are in need of our assistance, while allowing family information to remain private. In addition to regular projects, we also assist with other needs throughout the school year; upon request from school counselors; we provide shoes, coats & uniform pants as needed.
Midland Fair Havens is a faith-based, privately funded organization where families end cycles of abuse and poverty and discover new paths towards more sustainable futures. To meet the needs of single mothers and their children, we provide both residential and non-residential support.
While we no longer accept donation requests, we are always interested in adding local non-profits that align with causes close to our heart. To help us learn more about your organization, you are welcome to email any documents (newsletter, brochure, story of success, etc.) to hello@milagrocollective.com
