Meet Lucy Mullins

Lucy Mullins is a baker, creative, and the founder of Let Luce Bakery in Dallas, Texas. Originally from Beaumont, Lucy grew up around baking, entrepreneurship, and a strong sense of community. Today, Let Luce is more than just a bakery. Lucy has intentionally used her business as a way to give back, support others, and create meaningful connections through the work she loves. That spirit of philanthropy is woven into so much of what Lucy does, and the Mary Grace feels like a beautiful testament to that.

When Lucy entered Milagro Collective’s Dream Rug Contest, she could have designed anything. Instead, she chose to create something in honor of the 27 girls lost at Camp Mystic and the other children from her hometown of Beaumont who were lost that morning. Her submission was thoughtful, deeply personal, and centered around remembrance, faith, and giving back. It ultimately became the winning design and the rug we now know as the Mary Grace. What started as a Dream Rug submission became something much bigger, and we feel incredibly lucky to have brought Lucy’s vision to life with her.

About the Mary Grace

The Mary Grace was created as a tribute to the 27 girls lost at Camp Mystic. At the center is a sacred heart, known in Mexican tradition as a milagro heart, symbolizing healing, hope, and protection. Throughout the design, hearts, doves, florals, and other meaningful symbols come together to represent peace, remembrance, love, and hope.

Since the contest, we have worked closely with Mary Grace's mother, Katie Baker, to thoughtfully refine the design and make sure it reflects the children and families being honored. Inspired by the storytelling nature of traditional Mexican Otomí textiles, the Mary Grace feels joyful, hopeful, and full of life.

Proceeds from the Mary Grace will benefit the Heaven’s 27 Foundation.
