Milagro Collective is an online based retailer that offers carefully curated and designed modern oushak rugs. Founded by Texan, Bridget Green, Milagro Collective seeks to celebrate tradition and family by creating the perfect heirloom and the most grounding piece in a room… the rug! Our rugs are hand woven with 100% wool by third generation artisans in India whose work is an art form and true labor of love!
Milagro, Spanish for “Miracle,” and Collective together form the perfect recipe for design. Bridget’s “collective” style stems from the most prolific Southern design value: mixing the old with the new. Bridget finds balance in loved antiques with fresh, modern design. At Milagro Collective, we believe that a home, full of personalized touches and lots of pattern, color, and texture is one of life's greatest joys.
Meet The Milagro Team
Bridget’s inspiration has always been rooted in the South, from childhood summers in the Low Country to the day she met the love of her life in Auburn, Alabama.
After she and her husband bought their first home, newly married and just starting out, she found herself searching for a rug that was both beautiful and could actually handle real life. She remembers walking through Scott Antique Markets, completely drawn to vintage Turkish rugs. The character, the softness, the way they felt collected over time. But pieces like that were out of reach, and like so many others, they cycled through machine-made rugs that never held up, especially with a stubborn English bulldog who seemed determined to ruin every single one.
Milagro began shortly after as a collection of vintage rugs, sourced one by one, and since 2018 has grown into a small, hands-on team. She kept hearing the same thing again and again. Could this come in a different size? Could we change the color? Could you make something like this for my home?
Instead of continuing to search for what didn’t exist, Bridget started designing her own. Rugs that hold onto that same timeless feeling, but can be made to order, tailored to a space, and lived on every day. She was working directly with artisans to bring custom, heirloom quality rugs into everyday homes. What started with a dog has turned into life with a little girl, and the belief that rugs should be both beautiful and durable remains at the core of every design.
When she’s not working, you can usually find her in the middle of a remodel, spending time in the Low Country with family, or hunting estate sales. She looks forward to bringing love, miracles, and a touch of Southern hospitality into your home.
Our Creative Director, Miranda, brings a unique perspective to content, designs, and styling. With a degree and background in fashion merchandising, she’s well versed in pattern mixing and provides a fresh take on color.
When she isn’t in the office, you can find Miranda spending time with her family or hosting friends and neighbors at their home in Houston. She shares Bridget’s love for the Low Country and enjoys visiting Charleston with her husband when they can sneak away.
Inspired by both the charming exteriors and rich history, she believes traditional elements make a home warm and inviting. Chintz, lattice and antique pieces are sprinkled throughout her house, grounded by a Modern Oushak or five!
