As all of our rugs are made by hand, each may have slight inconsistencies or unique qualities. These variants are what make your rug truly one-of-a-kind.

Due to their handmade nature, colors on your rug may vary slightly in their appearance compared to how they look online but never extensively so.

Rug patterns, borders and motifs will all scale with size, so your final product may vary slightly from what is shown online.

To extend the life of your rug, a felt rug pad is recommended.

Care Instructions

Every cowhide rug is hand-selected and arrives finished and ready to use. For care at home, simply shake out or lightly vacuum with a non-beater brush attachment. Spot clean with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately. To maintain the hide’s natural luster, brush in the direction of the hair with a soft-bristle brush as needed. Avoid soaking or steam cleaning.
