About

The origins of the Oushak (Ushak) rug can be traced to an area south of Istanbul, Turkey known as Uşak. This area was a major center of rug production dating back to the Ottoman Empire. The designs of Oushak rugs are typically based on geometric movements, and are distinctive in both color and pattern, making them the ideal centerpiece for any room.

Today, at Milagro Collective, we continue this tradition to create the perfect one-of-a-kind rug for your home. We partner with an incredible manufacturer in India and Turkey who's artistry and essence of the rugs has trickled down through three generations. Our Oushak weavers use 100% natural wool to hand knot your dream rug. Be assured that no child labor is used.

My inspiration in life comes from all things Southern- from my childhood memories of Low Country summer vacations to the day I met the love of my life in Auburn, Alabama.
A Southern inspired home is more than a big porch and well-worn floors. It's a place molded by family heirlooms, beloved traditions, and the colorful characters who pass through its doors. A Southern home sets the stage for evenings of hospitality, laughter, and entertaining, followed by days of welcome respite.

Milagro, Spanish for “Miracle,” and Collective together form the perfect recipe for design. My “collective” style stems from the most prolific Southern design value: mixing the old with the new. My goal is to help you find your “home heaven” through balancing loved antiques with fresh, modern design. I believe that a home, full of personalized touches and lots of pattern, color, and texture is one of life's greatest joys.

When I'm not spending time with my family, you can usually find me hunting estate sales and traveling. I look forward to the opportunity to bring love, "miracles," and a touch Southern hospitality to your home!
